Rise Joinery

Joiners based in Lewes, East Sussex

We can work from architectural drawings or simply begin with a client’s imagination. Our experienced joiners will produce anything, from a hand-built kitchen to a single piece of furniture.

Designing, manufacturing everything from our Joinery workshop in Lewes, East Sussex, and installing for both private and commercial clients, we pride ourselves on attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

Go safely. Love your own ideas, love your project and love the result. Rise Joinery would love to be a part of it.

Mike brings his military-style discipline and attention to detail for even your smallest joinery projects at Rise Joinery. He started working life in the REME (Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers) until a near fatal car crash put an end to his career as a soldier.

He has since been a snowboarding instructor, rock climber and has travelled extensively. Right now he’s learning to speak Japanese. As a qualified bench joiner at Rise Mike gives a hundred percent to everything he will make for you.

Alex brings an incredible level of competence and ingenuity to the most unusual joinery you can dream of.  Not just a fully qualified joiner, he’s also trained to work on heritage buildings such as Lincoln Cathedral.

In his free time he’s a keen rugby player, representing his home town, Seaford. He also spends much of his time snowboarding, bouldering and rock climbing. Alex has worked at Rise for nearly ten years and brings a superb level of craftsmanship to any project he will undertake for you.

Tom affords your joinery projects thirty years of experience as a fully qualified wood machinist. He also creates meticulous CAD drawings of every moulding and small detail that your project needs.

A keen and very successful poker player, he enjoys the odd jaunt to Las Vegas. Tom also made all the furniture for his own house including the kitchen and windows. He will be the one with the crucial job of setting out the timber and marking up all the measurements so your joinery work can begin.

You will meet Andy at the initial detailed survey before your project even begins.

As the proud owner of Lewes-based Rise Joinery he has been running the company for over twenty years and is an old school, fully qualified joiner through the City and Guilds. He knows the building trade from cutting his teeth on building sites in his youth.

Andy will personally oversee the quality and craftsmanship of every stage of your joinery work from concept to final installation.
